Hello there, I'm Jess and welcome to my profile! I was drawn to computers and technology at an early age - I loved sci-fi, and playing video games. As a child, I remember always having an inclination for engineering. I used to take apart an old rotary phone and put it back together over and over until I figured out how the mechanics of it worked. I was also a big lego's fan. I just remember enjoying taking things apart and putting them back together again.As an adult, I still enjoy a good puzzle. Last year, I solved a 7 x 7 Rubiks cube for the first time. I will probably solve an 8 x 8 in the near future. I also like to spend time with friends, travel, hike, I also like to cook, and I enjoy a good sunset on my rooftop. As a Data engineer, I use data pipeline tools like Kafka along with python to streamline your business workflows, collate and collect customer and revenue data to improve your business insights and decisions. I can also automate whole entire process and work flows - think of it like Zapier but on steroids. These can be especially effective with regards to financial management and/or marketing campaigns.Throughout my career, I have had a very diverse skillset with regards to technology. Before I became fascinated with python and data, I was a System's Engineer or a technology generalist. I have even done a few startups as well. Recently, I have made the decision to focus on not only data, but python and the data science industry in general.
