A Non Linear Approach to: was a podcast produced by Daniel Sundén and myself. We set out to explore "What is it like to be a young designer in todays design industry".The podcast was fortnightly for just shy of a year, with each exploring a theme, talking about a book or having discussions with people related to the design industry, both green and experienced.

As a freelance designer I worked mainly in two areas:• Designing, facilitating, capturing learning and delivering outcomes from both singular workshops and long term workshop projects. • Creating a range of communications work, mostly video based, to explain process, events or complex ideas to a range of audiences, from end service users to conference audiences.

The Us Collective is an on-going collaboration between a number of freelance designers and creatives who, through mutual connections and interests, found themselves working together regularly. We decided to formalise the arrangement to allow us to present a coherent portfolio of work, enabling us to secure projects which interested us and develop our own in-house concepts, primarily for the health and wellbeing sector.

I worked as a designer in a large, multi-disciplinary team designing and trialling a unique service which provides service dogs to people with dementia. The concept was produced by four designers in our third year at GSA, of which I was one. As of 2013 the project is now in its pilot phase with three fully trained dogs placed with people with the early stages of dementia.
