Lead User Experience DesignerQantas Nov 2017 - Oct 2018Mascot, Nsw, AuWorking within the Loyalty team, finding opportunities for new and inactive members. Understanding customers values, pain points, motivations, and aspirations for joining as a Frequent Flyer. Insights would help us to identify new opportunities and to ideate potential solutions. Work involved customer research and interviews, creating surveys, creating and validating problem statements, exposing pain points, mapping touchpoints, and understanding values. Once we have valid insights we created conceptual solutions to test with the customer segmentation to then further validate interactive prototypes to further test. Work heavily involved stakeholder management and broad organisational management. All updates and insights were shared across the company so to align with a bigger business strategy. My main role was to create opportunities within the Loyalty program for disengaged customers, creating new ways to earn points and better ways to redeem rewards.Other work involves redesigning the Qantas App and experience from the ground up. A very conceptual project that allows big thinking. Working with teams of researchers, UX’ers, visual designers, developers, stakeholders, and project owners. Building relationships across the company to align app goals from each department. App work involves customer interviews, analysis, competitor research, rapid prototyping, user testing, customer-driven IA, content strategy, hands-on wireframing/sketching, ideation, and prototyping. -
