Unload is a non-profit, student-run organization at McMaster University designed to create a safe space for students with mental health issues and provide them the opportunities necessary to become actively involved with their community.As VP of Operations:• Planned the logistics of club events• Documented club information • Promoted the awareness of mental health issues within the community

Worked under the supervision of an M.Sc student in the Xu Lab conducting a project on the co-evolution of insects and fungi. My responsibility was to perform DNA extractions using the CTAB method for fungi and insect larvae samples using techniques like dry loading DNA onto agarose gel, gel electrophoresis, PCR and centrifuging.
