About Johanna Takach
I became interested in genetics and molecular biology a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. My education and early career focused on leveraging biotechnology to understand interactions between fungal microbes and their hosts. Currently, I use my skills to help develop better, faster, more efficient technology for the diagnostic industry. I acquire and share knowledge with enthusiasm, and love to share and discuss new ideas with people of all scientific backgrounds. I have training in a variety of molecular techniques and DNA-based technologies including cloning, fungal transformation, PCR (including qPCR and dPCR), and DNA sequence analysis. I also have experience with technical writing, scientific presentations, and mentorship.
