As the VP Sales and Marketing, I was in charge of company revenue. I led the sales and marketing team and am responsible for brand management, traffic generation, on-site conversion, and customer retention. This encompasses email marketing, merchandizing, user experience, social media, ads, retargeting and public relations.

As Product Manager I’m directly responsible for www.frankandoak.com, working with our talented group of designers and developers to ensure the Customer Experience always surpasses expectations.I leveraged a variety of tools to manage workflows and website testing, including Pivotal Tracker for agile project management, Optimizely and our own home-brew software for A/B testing, and RJMetrics, Looker and Excel for cohort analysis, customer lifetime value evaluation and predictive modelling. I also made use of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and SailThru to manage other site experiments and optimizations.I led the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program that oversees our customer-level product recommendations on-site, via email and through social.

As the first hire in marketing and employee #8 at Frank & Oak, I managed a wide variety of activities, all with the same goals: customer acquisition and retention. I ran our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms, our friend referral program, product launches, public relations and strategic partnerships.The role eventually grew to encompass Product Management for the acquisition team, overseeing data reporting of acquisition source with predictive CLTV, ensuring that all channels were optimized, growing and with an acceptable payback period. I looked over campaigns, landing pages, and first time customer experience from a shopping and email perspective.

I managed the digital presence for 4 L’Oréal brands: Shu Uemura, Pureology, Kérastase, and L’Oréal Professionnel. This required wearing many hats, including social media community management, email marketing, launching and maintaining brand websites and product microsites, and running acquisition campaigns and contests.I also established the first multi-brand CRM program within the group to better manage our nascent omni channel retail strategy, which included customer touch points online (email, social, and ecommerce) and off (beauty salons and traditional retailers).

iPerceptions Inc, a Montreal based company with offices in Toronto and New York offers a proprietary online research solution that captures attitudinal perceptions of actual site visitors within the context of their visit.
