Head of a global team that supports the Global Liquidity Management and the Liquidity Operations (Reporting) team in managing their operational and compliance risk (also known as "1B" risk) through their control environment, issue identification and management (second and third line), end user applications, models and operational compliance and any transformation projects impacting any one of these areas.

Responsible for establishing the governance and control structure in the Markets Business and Legal Entity Treasury groups, and building and leading a team to implement. Areas of governance and control include Governance Strategies, Models Management, End User Computing, Regulatory and Internal Audit Engagements, Project Management, Risk and Issues Management and Operating Model development.

Support to the US Treasurer by acting as their delegate by providing updates in C-suite committee meetings and making decisions to drive and protect the US Treasury strategy, and ensuring the overall health of the US Treasury team by monitoring the skills and team's ability to perform their function, which has been especially important over the pandemic (a large part of my role has to keep team members connected). This includes working with the US Treasurer to develop the overall strategy and plan and managing US Treasury's project portfolio to meet these objectives and to make any team changes where there have been inefficiencies and shortfalls identified in their operational capability.

Manage medium to large scale ($800K to $5M) in the Data Governance portfolio to solve for data issues; across the US banking organization which included mobilizing projects from infancy to project delivery by building a business and benefits case for project financing; and assembling project teams (project manager, developers, analysts and specialists) to develop requirements and solution architecture around the underlying problem statements.This led to supervising and leading technology teams to ensure all inflight projects are delivered on time according to project milestones; appropriately resourced; and within budget and are in line with stakeholder objectives and collaborating with specialists from other areas (e.g. solution architecture, infrastructure, data security, database administrators) to ensure that best quality solutions are delivered and supported properly within the technology and organizational framework.

Delivered solution to meet the Federal Reserve’s Enhanced Prudential Standards for Stress Testing and Liquidity Reporting by the mandated date of July 1, 2016.Reviewed functional requirements on behalf of Risk and Treasury stakeholders to ensure that the functionality delivered met the Federal Reserve’s guidelines, and that proposed functionality was within Deutsche Bank’s technology architecture and framework.Created an entirely new set of processes and reporting tools to establish the reconciliation of data in US liquidity reporting against the US balance sheet.Enabled quick response times to Federal Reserve fire drills by developing Treasury Dashboards and Reporting used to manage and monitor liquidity for US legal entities.

Led an international team (Kiev, London, Frankfurt, New York and Singapore) at Deutsche Bank (20 people at peak) to migrate users from a legacy liquidity reporting platform to a strategic platform in 12 months, and to add incremental improvements to the platform. This eventually led to other liquidity projects based in London and the United States.
