As a Quality Management Office (QMO) Lead at CTS, I oversee all contracted Quality Assurance engagements and assist in managing the testing efforts for all Software Development engagements. My responsibilities also include managing the CTS QMO, acquiring and maintaining partnerships with Quality Assurance vendors, identifying market relevant software testing skills to remain competitive, and supporting the sales team in a sales engineer role.

As a part of the Microsoft catalyst program, I interviewed clients to learn their software development lifecycle (SDLC). I worked with infrastructure teams to install TFS Application tiers, SQL Server instances, warehouse repositories and analysis cubes. I Supported developers, business analysts, project managers and QA staff with new TFS installation. I Supported architecture teams with branching and merging strategies. I also Supported QA teams with the development of automated frameworks and testing within the TFS technology stack.

As a Quality Assurance Consultant, I was responsible for providing our clients with department wide Quality Assurance assessments and roadmaps. During these engagements, I would interview business analysts, developers, testing personnel and project managers to document their SDLC. From there I provided tooling, training, reporting and process improvement roadmaps for the client’s Quality Assurance Department.

As the QA Lead on a six-month long engagement, I analyzed existing testing procedures and established a test strategy and plan to generate test data and automate test scripts for the SAP GUI and SAP web environments. Developed a plan to introduce a Quality Management Center of Excellence to meet the testing requirements for Alagasco’s SAP functional teams.

The HealthSouth QA Technical Lead develops and implements quality assurance practices, procedures, test plans and otherQA assessments in accordance with the CTS GuardianSM methodology and the HealthSouth SDLC. They manage compliance with standards and best practices, and develop the appropriate testing solution (functional, automated, or load) using HP's Quality Center, LoadRunner, and Quick Test Professional. They work directly with HealthSouth Project Managers and CTS personnel to understand concept, objectives and approach of software development projects. Leads frequently serve as consultants that offer expertise on quality assurance methods, processes, and tools. They define scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing and participate throughout the entire SDLC. The QA Lead is also responsible for resource planning, overall project management, status reporting, and active mitigation and resolution of risks and issues that could impede the test effort.
