Confectionary ManufacturerCompleted an upgrade of the JDA Sequencing tool from version 8.1 to 2018.1. This upgrade included installations in both North America and Asia. Guided the users through the conversion from a client/server-based solution to a Web Enabled application. The project was delivered on time and within budget despite having to transition to At Home work due to COVID-19.Automotive ManufacturerLed training effort for Repair Parts organization within North America. With changes in NAFTA, the client needed to retrain their planning/purchasing organization on the proper use of their existing JDA Demand and Fulfillment tools. Developed six training courses focused on Demand, Fulfillment and general supply chain practices. The courses were delivered over two weeks, and a training manual was also developed as a leave behind for the organization.Adhesive ManufacturerMr. Baert assisted with a data governance and standardization project for the client. Identified common and different data between two existing systems. DvSum was used as the tool of choice to assist with identifying common and different data across the applications. Disposable Consumer ProductsCompleted a project to improve the scheduling efficiencies of a packaging operations. The goal of the project was to reduce the amount of downtime that was associated to changeovers and products being scheduled on incorrect lines. During the assessment phase of the project it was determined that JDA Sequencing would improve the process over the existing Excel based system. Defined the data requirements for the new system, worked to source the data, configured and implemented the application for the packaging operation, along with providing training and work flow documentation. Changeovers were reduced by 40% and 14 hours of additional production per week were achieved. With the successfully implementation in place, the CIO decided to role the tool out to all global operations.

Led implementation of a Aspentech's finite capacity scheduling solution which included 12 production facilities and over 100 warehouses and co-packers. The implementation included collaboration with IT on hardware architecture, completing software selection, defining job roles, developing process documentation, assessing and selecting personnel for the new job roles and training of over 100 people in their new roles.

Led the first project in the United States where SAP’s Inventory Collaboration Hub (SAP ICH) was implemented. This system now manages vendor contracts and orders valued at over $2B a year. The system connects 40 major grocery and convenience store chains inventory positions with forecast to determine replenishment levels.
