Just a little more about myself, a subject I can never get tired of.I started my working life in the Royal Air Force, as a Radar Technician, and that led into lots of experience and training in all sorts of electronics and computing systems over 12 years' service, paradoxically very little to do with Radar. Upon leaving the RAF I worked in Field Service roles for a company in the fledgling Networking Industry, Thinwire, Thickwire, TDR's, OTDRs , Muxes, Broadband Ethernet, and all that. It was a very complicated world back then. I didn't learn my lesson and stayed with networking through the years of Token Ring, ATM and all sorts of associated nonsense until the world settled on Ethernet and TCP/IP as the only things that mattered, even if they weren't the best - but definitely the cheapest. There's a lesson there somewhere.In the meantime I graduated from the Field Service madness, through Pre-Sales to Consultancy and then to finally starting Fluid (EM) in 2009. We have had a few changes along the way but now I am director together with Mark Pinner, and we have become a trusted IT company providing all sorts of technical knowhow in our own unique style - not saying that's a good or bad thing, just that it's unique... We are primarily specialists in Cisco, Fortigate, HPE and Microsoft products, but have extensive experience with many different vendors and technologies.
