I'm an enthusiastic IT manager / IT program manager with a broad experience in both Financial Services and the IT (services) industry. I’ve worked on several occasions for a major Dutch insurance company, Nationale-Nederlanden (or more specifically Delta Lloyd which is now part of NN). Previous experience includes working for niche technology & consultancy IT companies Redwood Software and Texas Instruments/Sterling Software (later taken over by CA), and working for a major IT consultancy firm: Capgemini. In these companies I've held positions combining management, program management and consultative selling tasks. On occasions, I've worked internationally and/or with project teams that were internationally staffed, which I really enjoyed. And although I’ve held IT management positions for quite a while, the keyword for me is IT and not management. I love IT and working with a good team to deliver state-of-the-art IT. This in all sorts and forms and from both a business and a technology perspective.
