Oversaw the transition of acquired business units into the PayPal first-line security organization. Lead the security program for the independent business units and acquisitions of PayPal like Braintree, Venmo, Xoom, and iZettle. Assessed the security maturity of new acquisitions and created budgets and staffing plans with the corporate development team for raising the maturity of acquisitions once the deal closed.

Continued to build out the information security program with a focus on application security, infrastructure security, and risk management. Reported to the CTO and worked closely with Engineering and Product leadership to support the Braintree business.

Started Braintree's information security program and lead it through the PayPal acquisition. Built out policies and procedures as well as a significant migration of the internal data encryption services.

Worked on Braintree's infrastructure in transitioning services to be highly available. Built out new banking integrations and the first internal treasury management tools.

Lead a small team building applications to support the Housing and Food Services unit of Purdue.

Built web applications for both public and internal use using Microsoft's ASP.NET and SQL Server.

Supervised a team of customer support representatives, oversaw a multi-building network infrastructure, and administered an expansive knowledge management system.
