Overall responsibility for management of two DP2 DSV's with respect to the technical and financial performance. Liaising closely with the HSEQ Manager, Masters and Chief Engineers to ensure an efficient and economical safe operation. Responsible for monitoring the planned maintenance system and for bringing all outstanding items to completion. My duties were also to ensure vessels under my supervision are technically fit to carry out a safe and environmentally friendly operation in accordance with Company standards. During dry-docking/yard-stay or other repair situations ensure that the vessels and subcontractors safety rules are mutually understood and observed.

Inspecting and reporting on vessels and offshore marine installations during and after construction with regard to compliance with the applicable Classification requirements and meet associated statutory and special service requirements related to Safety of Life at Sea, Loadline, Tonnage, Cargo Gear,and Pollution Prevention Certification.I am qualified in a variety of ABS and Statutory survey tasks for different types of vessel.Also inspect and report on the certification of materials and fabrication of components relative to the offshore industry and ABS Rules.
