 Managed profitable and growing group of companies under direct ownership or franchise agreements; responsible for P&L, balance sheet, operating performance, and multiple union and non-union workforces totaling 10,000 employees.  Developed and executed plans and processes to maximize profits, boost productivity, and best deploy $1Bn in annual capital investments. Set annual operating goals and profit targets, and financial reporting and accounting policies for multiple large operating companies, in conjunction with parent company. Negotiated with key contractors and suppliers to reduce expenses by $300MM annually while growing the business >20% per year, raising product quality, and sustaining profit margins.  Led Sarbanes-Oxley implementation across multiple subsidiaries and IT platforms.

VP-Finance, Division Controller  As Marketing & Sales Division Controller, oversaw $15Bn operating plan with 12,000 worldwide staff; led accounting and cash management in U.S., Asia, Europe/Middle East, and Latin America; and deployed SAP Finance and International Accounting modules.  As Customer Service Division Controller, managed $4.5Bn in annual expenses; drove 5% annual productivity; led corporate-wide early retirement program; implemented $6Bn/10-year supply chain consolidation project.
