Developed approaches, including statistical methods, for verifying key PNT related system level requirements Wrote Models and Simulation Verification Plan Wrote significant portions of System Requirements Verification Plan Solely responsible for verification of all System level SAP requirements, these are primarily ICD requirements.o Recognized the need to update existing traces between the CDD, system specification and segment specifications. Initiated this process and completed it with a team of three key senior technical experts. We added, deleted or changed hundreds of traces.o Chief technical support for GPS Ground System, OCX. Supported the entire team as a technical consultant. Primary product was the initial GPS vocabulary to help support net centric efforts. Lead net centric efforts for OCX which included writing the Community of Interest (COI) charter, the COI Operating Instruction and working with AFOTEC Developed, under auspices of the GPS COI Data Management Working Group, initial GPS vocabulary using Microsoft Access which was later converted to Topbraid format using the Web Ontology Language (OWL). The initial vocabulary consists of 197 vocabulary terms, 148 semantic relationships and 267 contextual relationships. Used Topbraid and OWL, took Air Force sponsored Topbraid training

• Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF)This is a satellite system scheduled for launch in 2008 with a more robust higher bandwidth system than the current system. Responsibilities include leadership of the Aerospace team for software for the Mission Planning Element. The Mission Planning Element plans the use of all system resources including the satellite and all communication terminals.• Space Based Infra Red System (SBIRS) Ground – led team for the Mission Planning software. The Mission Planning software analyzes data received form the satellite and identifies possible targets. It is, among other things, an image analysis support tool.Payload - assisted in redefining the architecture for the real time on the satellite Signal Processing Architecture. The approach taken by the contractor was inadequate and we (Aerospace) helped steer the effort into a better approach.SEIT - helped steer the contractor into better use of the relational database system used to support SBIRS. Defined better processes for assuring the consistency and validity of the database product.• Transformational Satellite Communication (TSAT)Was a member of the three person team which defined the initial concepts for the software architecture for the entire system. Wrote “Software Architecture Concept” • Russian AMerican Observation Satellites (RAMOS)Lead software engineer. Developed software architecture with team members from Space Dynamics Lab at University of Utah and Russian partners.• Independent Cost Estimation (ICE)Technical lead for the following independent cost estimation efforts.
