I am a self-starting, people focus, career oriented individual and a weakness towards perfection and data reviewing for accuracy. I enjoy creating procedures and excel sheets. Procedures are mostly to help remind myself how to do things when written procedures has not previously been created. Excel, well, when children had gaming system, I had a computer and grew up playing with excel and word and finding all their tricks and tools. My first major leadership role was in eighth grade (1995-96) when he became President of the Caring Cougar Club at Alvarado Middle School in Union City, CA. The Caring Cougar Club is the peer support and new student ambassador program for the campus. The following year, I was selected to serve as the student representative for James Logan High School, Union City, CA to the Service Learning Youth Committee of Southern Alameda County. In 1999, I was selected to represent all male students in California to the National Service Learning Conference and the National Youth Service Committee. I was also selected to present at the Conference on Service-Learning 101. Since then, I have put in over 5,000 service hours working with various AmeriCorps Programs around the San Francisco Bay Area serving as a Classroom Teacher, Site Supervisor, Community Beautification Projects Leader, Donations Coordinator and Logistics Manager.
