I have continued to grow as a librarian, taking on more responsibility and thriving on challenging myself to learn as much as possible, Since working at Kodaikanal International School and Saudi Aramco Libraries. I have been a major part in creating the Library events known as authors' corner, Comic Collection display, bookmark reviews, and Book Committee meetings (weekly Wednesday) ., I have been instrumental in the success of many large programs at the library such as; Back to School, Doctor Seuss, Ramadan Day celebrations...also, I try an encourage students regarding reading & exploring books my favorite part is to see such big smiles when they get their favoritebooks to read and then they excitedly want to share what they’ve read,I am extremely organized and can master organization-specific software quickly, and successfully. I put a lot of effort or rather I put my heart into maintaining it, My style as The Head Librarian is to be highly effective, results-oriented,open, and collaborative. I am committed to the betterment of the institution,leading by example, following through on what I propose, and adapting my work to user needs.I strive for creating a work environment with open communication, idea-sharing, and positive risk-taking to fuel an innovative and energetic team.I also maintain an open-door policy, As a goal-driven and team-oriented leader,I make certain that all of my staff members, teachers, administrators,and support staff we work with, know how valuable they are to the success ofour academic institution. I am generous with praise, positive encouragement,and constructive feedback and I give 100% every day.One of my greatest strengths as a Librarian is my forward-thinking ability.I like to keep my school at the forefront of education and innovation.I subscribe to numerous academic journals, with a particular focus onintegrating technology into the Library. By staying on top of the changingworld of technology, I can identify, source, and integrate effectivelytechnology to optimize the learning experience. Another strength of mine as an administrator is my openness and transparency. I also promote parental involvement and encourage family members to approach school staff with any questions or concerns they might have.
