As you can see from my past experience I have mainly worked for two agencys - the Macomb County Road Commission and SEMCOG. Both positions have allowed my to grow as a professional in area of traffic safety. However, both positions have also provided me the opportunities to experience much more than I would have ever expected in my background as a civil engineer, including: working directly with the public, local government agencies, and local elected officials; being a steward and president of a union; becoming more knowledgible in all areas of transportation and regional planning; asked to present across the U.S. in the areas of traffic safety and operations, and; developing into a leader.Ultimately my goal is to be the best that I can and to help others solve their transportation related issues.Specialties: Traffic safety; transportation operations; intelligent transportation systems/architecture; asset management; congestion management; regional planning; communication, coordination, cooperation and committement;
