Jennifer’s spouse is the General Manager of daily operations and there are 13 Contractors on the Guest Services Team. Directly responsible for new client acquisition and development of the recruitment strategy dedicated to serving the emerging needs of IT/Crypto, Bio/Pharmaceutical, Engineering/Manufacturing, and Aerospace and Avionic Clients. Post Hurricane Maria business growth was slow and energy was required at Villa Tropical Inc. thus JT realigned with Pinpoint and Metro to continue to support their efforts as an independent consultant. METRO IT Resources is an IT staffing and project solutions company based in San Juan, PR. It is the oldest privately held staffing company in PR, EST: 1985. Jennifer was first hired by the Owners of Metro’s parent company, Pinpoint IT Services (Virginia Beach, VA) to help with a near-shore business launch in Mayaguez in 2009. She assisted as a primary dedicated recruiting resource and recruitment mentor on contract for eight months and continued to support as an occasional contractor in business development and recruiting functions and assisted with business leadership development and recruiter training in San Juan in 2013 and 2014. JT participated in the corporate leadership retreat in August of 2016 and rejoined the Team as Director of Business Expansion (September 1st, 2016). Re-alligned by Corporate as Leader of their 2nd distinct/separate Caribbean Operation, catering to West side of Puerto Rico and new emerging industries aka Pinpoint Puerto Rico.

JT was instrumental in sourcing top sales executives and training them as well as assisting in the overall team leadership development. Promoted to Director of Operations in 2005. Resigned when our first child was on the way and founded Shacks Enterprises Inc., and moved our family to Isabela, Puerto Rico.

Primary responsibilities included business analysis, organizational design, and planning creative, strategic, marketing and business development initiatives. She was instrumental in corporate culture development, branding, business process improvements, performance metrics tracking, communications process improvements and administrative operations procedure development. Also responsible for primary sales and strategic alliance partnerships relationship development. Successfully closed 250K in project sales in first 2 months. Established new primary Client Accounts with Siemens (SBT), CRB, ABN AMRO and Anexsys (e-government). Recruited and trained top performing sales staff. Green Card approved, and a move to the suburbs, predicated a change in relations from employee to contractor and Jennifer became an independent business development agent in support of all efforts of Centrax Corporation.

As Business Development Manager, responsibilities included many of those listed for DD role below with more concentrated focus on business ‘solutions’ development and marketing project outsourcing services (solution selling). JT was successful with more than a dozen major accounts including IBM, BP, United Airlines, Bridgestone/Firestone, ABN AMRO, and Sears. During the first two weeks focused in this role she opened two new accounts and hired 21 new billable staff. Recognized as the Top Sales Person Metro Nationwide for July and August 2000 and remained in Top 5 in 2001.

Recruited at an Ottawa job fair, Jennifer relocated from Canada to the United States to challenge her sales and business development skills in progressively advanced positions with Metro. Metro Information Services was a 300+ million dollar, information technology services company with over 3000 staff in up to 43 locations across the United States and Puerto Rico. Metro’s services included staff augmentation, managed services and project outsourcing. Jennifer directly helped establish 7 new divisions. Keane acquired Metro in November 2001.

As part of Metro’s Geographic Expansion Team, Jennifer pioneered the EPSR (expansion professional staff recruiter) role. She traveled Monday to Friday living on-location for a 3-6 month timeframe in Seattle, WA; Columbus, OH; Denver, CO; St. Louis, MO; Austin, TX; and Kansas City, KS. Primary responsibilities included all aspects of establishing the new Division. Directly supported the new Marketing and Operations staff and successfully achieved bonus goals. Designed recruiter-training curriculum adopted as corporate standard. Reported directly to the President, EVP and VP’s of Metro and produced detailed weekly reports on challenges and successes.
