Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department at the University of California, Los Angeles under the supervision of Prof. Yuzhang Li. I have over four years of experience developing battery systems, including Li-S, Li Metal, and All-Solid-State Batteries, for applications in grid-scale energy storage, flexible electronic devices, and high performance electric vehicles. My current research is primarily focused on leveraging advanced characterization techniques, such as cryogenic electron microscopy, to gain deep insights into the operational mechanisms and failure modes of next-generation battery chemistries. The overarching goal of my research is to utilize newly gained insights as a foundation for identifying innovative engineering solutions that can effectively enhance overall battery performance.
