Comprehensive Care Solutions provides a software solution to clinics for healthcare solutions. For our current clients and health systems, we create a seamless experience that can bring a patient from beginning to end in a healthcare continuum, including their social factor needs.My responsibilities currently include:Gathering requirements and translating them into technical requirements. This includes software development, data and workflow pipelines, adapting to workflows within our ecosystem, design and UI via Figma, and some development work on the ground as well.Managing a team of developers to build out requirements for said clients. Managing multiple databases and queries for our solution, including FHIR, and subsequently noSQL, and a mySQL database that indexes our FHIR data store for reporting purposes.

Manages and implemented IT solutions for a small outpatient physical therapy facility. Engages in new healthcare solutions involving patient scheduling, patient engagement, PT machine informatics, and billing automation.

Koazie is a platform for skilled nursing facilities nationwide. We combine up-to-date information from medicare.gov with custom, personal filters that bring character to a nursing facility to embody a tool for the patient to make informed decisions on their future health care providers. Directed a group of student developers to build Koazie, a government-regulated but individual-based search for their nursing home needs. Piloted the product with Orange County Providence Medical Group, affiliated skilled nursing facilities, and Innovation Center. Based the framework on a MEAN stack with Amazon Web Services (EC2 servers, S3 storage) to build a search engine for skilled nursing facilities.

Architected and developed a secure data pipeline to gather intraday and daily health data from Fitbit wearables to our own Firebase Firestore noSQL database. Utilized a kubernetes Google cloud server to request Fitbit wearables API health data and pushed it to the company’s database. Architecture considerations: Fitbit wearables downtime, any server/API downtime, verification of data, data traffic, API request traffic, oAuth2.0 authentication workflow.

Curated, selected, and implemented a manufacturing execution system (MES) (Oqton) for the additive manufacturing startup. Developed a temporary MES in Google Apps Script for daily manufacturing work flows and statistical quality control. Integrated IOT of 3D Printing machines (3DS, EOS, Reolink monitoring) into the manufacturing process flow. Responsibilities included:Led the validation process for the MES, including writing documentation for system requirements/functional specifications, validation qualifications/protocol executions, risk assessments, and deviations.Organized and led training sessions with the manufacturing and quality teams to tailor our existing workflows into the MES.Developed the “Temporary MES” Google sheets/apps script app used for company wide, daily manufacturing operations. Includes modules for active scheduling print jobs, maintenance alerts, and facility events. Manages equipment use, metal powder lots, and build plate inventory. I worked with Dr. Magdalena Constantin (Varian Medical Systems, collaboration) to thoroughly investigate the dosimetric leaf gap (DLG) on the Halcyon linear accelerator (Varian). The traditional measurement of DLG yields abnormal values on the Halcyon system, thus we justify the value to be used in the pre-configured beam data of the Eclipse treatment planning system through unconventional measurements and different pre-treatment plan verifications. With Medical, Educational Missions & Outreach (MEMO), I helped plan and run local health fairs and clinics to provide basic screenings for the local Orange County community as well as several fundraising events that aimed to promote awareness of our goals and annual mission trip. As the social media director, I managed the organization’s presence online and in the community, captured the essence of our largest events through videography, and coordinated with our sponsors to acknowledge their contributions. During our 10 day mission trip to southern Vietnam, I had the opportunity to impact the lives of the underserved, by hosting free health screenings, presenting over 70 scholarships to students in rural areas, and funding five heart surgery patients through our fundraisers.Learn more about MEMO here: http://www.aboutmemo.org/

At Kaiser Permanente, I configured the Clarity (Z Microsystems, Inc.) hardware to digitally remove smoke and fog from surgical monitors during robotic/laparoscopic surgeries in real time. Configuration was done during surgery, and surgeons would use Clarity to have an easier time maneuvering during their procedures. Other features such as blood filtering and tumor margins were also explored.
