I also directed corporate development efforts including mergers, acquisitions and alliances.We offered API's supply chain management and AeTR and PPS's component MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) capabilities to certain Prime Contractors in an effort to secure long-term CLS (Contractor Logistics Support) sub-contracts supporting the US Department of Defense. In addition, we worked with aerospace OEMs to outsource the management of their aftermarket and production supply chains using API's world-class supply chain and distribution infrastructure, and AeTR and PPS's engineering and MRO capabilities. Together, API, AeTR & PPS created value in both market segments by reducing or eliminating capital costs, minimizing supply chain operating expenses, improving inventory availability, and reducing repair cycle times.My co-workers and I successfully secured long-term contracts with aerospace and defence customers such as the United States Navy, Air Canada Jazz (Jazz Aviation LP), USAirways Express (Piedmont Airlines), and Embraer.
