• Refactored monolithic client build process to allow web assets to be built from npm-published artifacts, thus enabling rapid local development of UI features with tools such as webpack-dev-server• Introduced custom React hooks to accelerate development of new UI features, often with 25% less development time than comparable work in Redux/RxJS• Ported numerous complex UI features from Java/JSP to TypeScript/React to promote maintainability and future feature development º Some examples of features which I ported include our entire support form and user comment systems, as well as dozens of specially tailored forms for querying our genome-scale datasets• Implemented and styled a ​new home page​ with React, CSS Grid, and Sass to streamline user navigation
