Military Doctrine Analyst
CurrentIncumbent conducts analysis and assessment of current and/or proposed doctrine and warfighting concepts and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to identify the relevant factors, variables, and alternatives to be considered during the development of doctrinal publications.Researches, analyzes, organizes, and writes a wide variety of Air Force, joint, and combined doctrine publications. Maintains liaison with other DoD doctrine organizations to compile material, conduct research and interviews and gather doctrinal inputs.Establishes the scope, effectiveness/impact, objectives, approach, and outline of assigned doctrine publications.Incumbent represents AFDC at conferences and meetings with senior members of HQ USAF, MAJCOMS, and other high level groups, agencies, and private industry.Incumbent will present the Air Force position during discussions with the Joint Staff, other Services, and Unified Commands on impending decisions for future joint doctrine development requirements.
