• Implement POC’s for new designs, technology and hardware• Define standards for naming, numbering, and configuration• Technologies deployed against a three-tier campus design and CLOS architecture to L3 TOR

• Scope network deliverables and timelines for business needs and initiatives• Design, deploy, and document additions and expansions of the production Data Center network• Participate in second line on call rotation

• Manage, modify and upgrade equipment in a mixed Enterprise/Data Center/Carrier class environment• Troubleshoot and resolve day to day issues. Participate in first line on call rotation• Platforms included Cisco OS’s (IOS, IOS XR, NX OS), various Cisco routers and switches (including Nexus 7k/5k/2k, Catalyst 6500, ASR 9k), Firewalls (ASA, FWSM) and Load Balancers (A10, ACE)

• Monitored and resolved customers networking issues in enterprise level networks with response SLA’s as low as 15 minutes• Technologies included OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS and many more• Extensive work with routing and switching, minor involvement with server applications and various security and voice components

• Assisting customers to resolve technical issues with their residential gateway, over the phone, in a home networking environment.• Pursuing sales of account upgrades when applicable.
