In February 2009 I joined the medical imaging project of the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, where I am in charge of the technical part. This project agrees with the healthcare organizations to provide a backup service of radiological images they generate and to distribute them among different centres, Hospitals, clinics, etc .... We have large disk arrays to store the images and a collection of Web Services that address the messaging centre to record and publish the images in clinical history of Catalonia (HCCC). In December 2011 my contribution to this project is finished.

Project Manager. Company of the healthcare, member of Taulí Parc of Sabadell. Our department is dedicated to programming and distribution of a collection of products for digital medical image processing, of which we have as the main product Raim Server pacs. At that time I was co-head of department projects and had 19 projects of digital image under my responsibility. This responsibility includes everything from the preparation stage (advice the client on the most appropriate stage), coordination of integration (Prepare the integration messages with company that bears the RIS / HIS), the coordination of the installation (between different modalities manufacturers), implementation, project monitoring (updates, upgrades, etc ...), preventive maintenance and documentation. This task requires continuous movement and a close and constant contact with customers, partners or others. The modalities and PACS connectivity is via Dicom, between PACS and other applications are via XML/HL7 and access to images is via client-server or via the Web. On the other hand, I was in charge of different types of projects, from a small hospital to a whole region, which made the complexity of each project different.

Software Company devoted mostly to specific programming. We work with tight-knit team, using Visual Fox and their own class libraries; the reporting is done with Crystal Reports. Mainly we made applications for teaching, for tourism and for car sales.

Programmer Analyst. Feed Distribution Company. I worked in the IT department developing the management relating the central services and the points of sales (price changes, sales monitoring, labelling, holding, margins, etc ...) using CLIPPER-NOVELL, and make the appropriate adjustments to integrate information into the central works on UNIX / ORACLE. I had the great opportunity to experience the total renewal of the enterprise computing, new applications, new computers, new environments, new payment systems for retail outlets, of which I was responsible by making the pilot test with different POS (BULL SIEMENS NIXDORF , NCR, IBM, ....). This renovation has allowed me to live it up close and have in the hands different applications of both front-office and back-office, of which I could take good advantage of skill level.

Programmer Analyst. Food Distribution Company. This company had 90% of the software produced by the same department. My task was maintenance, improvement and expansion. Programming environment with Novell and Clipper. In this company we pioneered the automation of communications and the use of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
