Completed the electromechanical component and assembly design for prototype builds and validation testing prior to final design review and project transfer. -Led and mentored Asia Engineering Team to design and implement fuse holder and power distribution block projects which helped build design and product development experience at the Asia Engineering Center.-Managed project and guided outside supplier on the design and contact material selection for custom terminal block for GE which achieved 500A/1sec withstand performance requirements.-Identified design issues during project transfer phase then implemented design changes prior to tooling release that avoided future field issues and resulted in a successful terminal block project for Schneider Electric.-Led innovative design solutions and project implementation for fused disconnect platform for 3-250A DC applications, resulting in design patent and successful product launch.-Initiated product design of a custom power distribution panel for Lucent which led to multiple power panel projects that significantly increased sales.-Utilized Pro/Engineer to design electromechanical assemblies, molded parts, electrical interconnects resulting in multiple successful development project implementations.
