About Jasmine Mcneil

I’m a design problem-solver, business strategist, digitally-focused marketer, and lover of all that provides functional beauty. My current work is leading marketing, entrepreneurial and design activities at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Technology Innovation Center. We’re a group of researchers, designers, developers, and organizers working to solve clinical problems through technology built for use within and beyond the walls of the hospital. Through my work, I have gained an appreciation for solving problems pulled directly from the day-to-day work of the clinician through simple, well-designed software applications. Daily, I apply my experiences in the Design Leadership program through Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business and Maryland Institute College of Art to the work that I do. Translation: I leverage human-centered design principles as part of the the customer discovery process for the products we build, facilitate workshops that promote those principles, and apply those principles as we continue to develop our organization. A lover of creating and storytelling, I’ve written daily hard news stories, restaurant first looks, and heart-wrenching profiles. I’ve developed web sites, press releases, photo galleries, and given start-ups a social media voice they didn't think they had. I’ve trained professionals online and in-person, managed temporary and on-going projects, and built social media followings from zero to thousands by creating original and effective content.Contact me if you’re interested in connecting to exchange ideas or in need of a creative extra hand for your next project. I love a new challenge.
