While serving as a Technical Consultant for LPG Africa, I lead the technical specification, procurement, negotiations, and implementation of an initial 25 LPG barge fleet to transport converted flare gas into saleable product in Nigeria and nearby countries. I represent a consortium, which is converting flare/waste natural gas into a useable product LPG for transportation and distribution further inland using the Niger river system to expand the Nigerian infrastructure and economy. I was responsible for the costing and packaging of all Stewart & Stevenson power generation equipment sold throughout the international sales division. The international export market consisted of pre-packaged, custom packaged and oilfield related power generation equipment. Sales volume was in excess of 150 million dollars. Packages for both the 50 cycle international market and 60 cycle units for the oil and gas industry were incorporated in the proposals.
