Engineering Co-op for three rotations.Clients Served: Nike, Whole Foods, Limited Brands, Spirit Aerosystems, KaterraMay 2015-August 2015 Worked on a team of consultants at Spirit Aerosystem’s Greenville, NC and Tulsa, OK locations. Team developed a database of operations for producing sections of composite aircraft using manual data collection and predetermined motion systems. Used this database to develop standard times for over 50,000 manufacturing operations. Database was used by client for production forecasting and labor estimates.January 2016-May 2016 Part of a three consultant team that conducted a labor productivity study at Limited Brand’s distribution center in Cincinnati, OH  Collected and analyzed labor data to determine how efficiently the distribution center used its resources. In Feb. traveled to Memphis, TN to work on a team of consultants at Nike’s distribution campus. Defined standard operating procedures for the returns and sports balls department at the campus. Created and validated engineered standards using EASE software. Standards were used by management to forecast labor requirements August 2016-December 2016 Worked in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle for Katerra Construction on a 5 consultant team.  Collected data to compare panelization techniques at three different sites to determine which was most efficient. Presented data to the client to help inform their production decisions.

-Updated the standards database to reflect current workforce performance which was then used to balance production lines and determined expected output. -Worked on initiatives to reboot and maintain the 5s program at a textile manufacturing facility. -Purchased industrial equipment for a new textile facility in Tifton, Georgia. Completed purchases ahead of schedule and 22% under budget. -Compiled a complete inventory of warehouse and lab chemicals to create new MSDS manuals.
