I have spent the past 22 years at an organization where regardless of my title, I was able to say, “I have the greatest job EVER”. I am a “do-er”, a list-maker, a “get-it-done” professional. I am thankful to work alongside and in support of my team of amazing, incredibly dedicated people who make a difference every day for the customers we serve. I grew up on a farm in central Minnesota, so I have a killer work ethic. I am also Scandinavian, so while I prefer to not discuss my feelings, I work in a helping profession and am surrounded by empathetic, feeling people. As a result, I consistently work to modify my communication style to meet all of our needs. I am a big fan of grammar and punctuation. Few things make me happier than a concise, well-written document at an appropriate reading level for the intended audience. I also love developing a sense of belonging for both our team and customers. I believe that welcoming is great but belonging is better.
