Jerry served as Regional Director for Jani-King of Charleston, SC which included most of the State of South Carolina especially along the Atlantic Coast. As Regional Director Jerry's responsibilities included expanding the business in revenue by contract acquisitions with companies within the territory; selling new franchise units to business owners along with growing & developing existing unit franchisee network; and managing the entire operation to ensure profitability and increase market share.Today Jani-King is the world's largest commercial cleaning franchise company with more than 12,000 franchisees serving tens of thousands of customers. During Jerry's tenure with The Cracker Barrel Group dba Logan's Roadhouse he learned every facet of the business from the ground up. Starting in the Back of the House learning everything thats required to manage a successful kitchen including Recipes; Managing & Mentoring Chefs; Inventory Management & Ordering; Food Cost and Maintaining a Clean and Healthy Kitchen (Back of House). Jerry then moved to the Front of the House and learned all the responsibilities associated with Managing a Dining Room and Bar including Hiring and Scheduling a wait staff of over 250 employees; Developing Relationships with Loyal Customers; Creating Advertising and Marketing Plans to Grow Market Share and Overall Perception of Restaurant Brand in the Community. Jerry then went on to assist with Opening New Locations for the Brand in Georgia and the Carolinas until settling down in Charleston, SC where he became General Manager of a Unit generating over 5M in annual revenue. In his capacity as General Manager Jerry was responsible for Overall Profitability of Unit; Improving Brand Image in Community; Strategic Planning for Growth Opportunities; and Focusing on Overall Quality of Food and Dining Experience. Logan's Roadhouse is a chain of restaurants that was founded in 1991 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA and in 1999 became a wholly owned subsidiary of the publicly held CBRL Group, Inc (which also owns Cracker Barrel). There are over 210 company operated and 26 franchised Logan's Roadhouse locations throughout 23 states and growing.
