My current role is two fold: 1) New business development with unique, high risk and/or hard to place insurance clientele. Primarily focused on property and casualty lines of business with a direct focus on product liability, environmental liability, transportation exposures and professional liability 2) Consultant work with clientele to develop risk management strategies to protect their assets. While I worked at Capital City my primary focus was on home builders and their associated trade contractors. At that time, we represented a "Home Builder" insurance program which enabled us to work with 2,500 home builders and contractors across the state of Texas. One of the key features of the contracting industry is the enormous amounts of contracts each company encounters each year. It was through this daily exposure to contracts that I learned the importance of risk management strategies when dealing with contracts. Today, I employ many of those strategies with my clientele and I continue to learn more each and every day. No matter your industry or organization, contractual risks should be a key factor evaluated and mitigated in your risk management program.

When I wasn't skiing, hiking,4-wheeling, snow shoeing or just admiring the mountains I worked with second-home buyers and sellers with their real estate transactions. It was here that I learned the importance of persistence and attention to detail. Persistence because my clientele didn't have to buy and/or sell and detailed because often times my clientele were geographically remote. These qualities have stuck with me today. I pride myself on timely persistence which leads to greater efficiency and opportunities for my clients. Additionally, details are what concern me. However, what differentiates me is the ability to see "all" the details but more importantly to see the "forest" beyond them. Today these qualities help me generate exceptional results for my clients' risk management programs.
