Dr. Tucker works as a consultant for pediatric hospital programs in addition to covering clinically as a hospitalist whenever needed. She serves as Medical Director of a daycare for medically complex children, and during the pandemic has helped childcare programs develop plans to keep kids and staff safe during COVID.Dr. Tucker enjoys spending time with family and friends, yoga, and working with her sister on “vegetable sneaking” recipes for the family's kids. In 2013, she and her sister turned their "reciPEAS" into a business (Easy Peasie LLC) to help families all over the world win the veggie-fight! www.easypeasie.comDr. Tucker is a Board Certified pediatrician since 2008, specializing in caring for hospitalized children (infants through late adolescence), delivery room care of newborns, and well-newborn care. Along with 4 of her classmates, she completed both her Doctor of Medicine and public health degrees (MD, MPH) at Emory University in 2004. She continued her education at the University of Maryland where she completed her Pediatrics residency in 2007, and was honored to serve her program 2007-2008 as Chief Resident.
