I am a software engineer with over 4 years of experience in developing scalable, performant, and user-friendly web applications and big data retrieval pipelines using a variety of languages, tools, and frameworks. I specialize in backend development, particularly using Go, Python, Elasticsearch, and AWS. I have a strong background in search relevance, machine learning, data engineering, and full stack development.At CB Insights, I apply my expertise in big data retrieval, web development, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions for a leading platform for emerging market intelligence. At my time at CB Insights, I helped orchestrate several innovative solutions focused on search relevance that improved the search quality, speed, and user experience of the platform. I have also designed and built backend infrastructure for several key features, and conducted multiple A/B testing experiments to objectively measure outcomes.Previously, I worked as a full stack software engineer at Optum, where I directed a project to optimize data ingestion pipelines to Solr, facilitated the adoption of scrum framework, created unit testing foundation, and reduced deployment costs in Kubernetes through automated tuning.
