UMD Advanced Manufacturing and Polymer Processing Lab•CAMES Characterization Research: Find and measure critical stress of CAMES beads, write S.O.P. for CAMES characterization, characterize several batches of CAMES, and run Kollidon, TiO2 with CAMES under rheometer •Residence Stress Distribution Research: Relate percent break up to SPD number, relate 5 wt% TiO2 to 70 wt% TiO2, and work around the operation conditions to relate on crystallinity, water content, and degradation for pharmaceuticals•Twin Screw Extrusion Research: Understand and develop the equations for degradation, water content, and other factors, learn and run the twin screw technology and its applications, and run HPMC, HDPE, and other various materials under multiple operating conditions
