I am a political science major from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with an emphasis in political participation. I have also completed a post-graduate specialization to become a Specialist in Public Opinion and Political Marketing from the same university. Currently I´m working as Social Media Manager of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce. For more than five years I excelled as a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting (formerly FD Gravitas), a leading agency for strategic communications in Colombia. I joined initially for the design and implementation of planning for Web 2.0 customers of the company and then also to work in strategic communications consultancy. During my time at FTI I implemented key digital strategies for some of the biggest and most important multinational companies in Colombia such as: Google Colombia, FNC, Unilever, Claro, Bancolombia, Banco Caja Social, Experian, Organization Corona, Almacenes Éxito and Promigas. Something that stood out and made my opinion both respected and implemented was with my work with political campaigns in Latin America such as the Henrique Capriles for President in Venezuela, and pro bono initiatives as Teach for Colombia and the League Against Cancer in Bogotá.In my previous profesional experience i had the oportunity to work at El Tiempo, Colombia´s biggest and most reputable newspaper, as a journalist in special projects related to Internet and Online Government. This was done in partnership with the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (Min TIC), thanks to the CEET (Casa Editorial El Tiempo) program to develop young talent. I have also worked with various political campaigns of former Bogotá Mayor Enrique Peñalosa. In this campaign we developed the first strategy of web 2.0 for Colombian politicians, and with whom he worked with during his presidential campaign in 2014 thanks to a license granted by FTI Consulting. I also worked as a communications advisor at the Bogotá City Council.
