Specific Duties and Projects Undertaken:• Extensive inventory knowledge within the Ore Processing Facilities including mechanical, electrical and rail spare parts.• Optimized holdings of $103 Million Rotable/Repairable inventory portfolio by incorporating efficient planning practices, considering lead times, order quantities, criticality, costs, safety stock levels, and service level goals.• Employ continuous improvement practices to evaluate the rotable inventory utilizing IBM Oniqua optimization tool. Make appropriate changes within the boundaries of the governance standards to ensure optimal performance.• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure inventory is optimised to meet scheduled shutdowns and breakdown requirements. • Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of requests to incorporate stock into the rotable inventory (MDO), enabling efficient storage of essential spare parts for uninterrupted operational continuity.• Streamline rotable inventory management to minimize costs, meet demand, and enhance operational efficiency by optimizing reorder points, quantities, and stock levels.• Manage and maintain quality material master data at a plant level in SAP and perform item reviews for aged inventory, stock over max (Anaplan) and any material no longer required by the business to support Working Capital Optimisation. • Challenge existing methods, identify and implement improvement strategies and coach and educate stakeholders in the intricacies and importance of effective Inventory Management. • Maintain MRP process, by analysing and quantifying MRP data.
