As a Quality Assurance Engineer I was the responsible to implement and give maintenance to the whole quality system in a company of around 800 employees that produces around 70,000 pairs of shoes per month. I've been the responsible to implement the audits at the process by layers, whereupon the process of stitching and finishing reached a reduction of 8% of nonconforming product, through the application of preventive actions in each process. I was the representative of the company who attended the complaints of the customers, I took part as a leader of the quality circles, where we reduced the complains of 16 in 2012 to 2 in 2013.Achievements: I took an active leadership to reach and keep the certification on ISO 9001 since december 2010 until june 2014. I implemented the audits by layers in all the process as a part of the main goal of the company to work under the "Just in Time" methodology. Giving solutions to help the "pull system" in the production line to reduce the unnecessary inventories in favor to the continuous flow of the material through the process.

As a Process Engineer at Crocs, I was the leader of staff of around 20 or 25 people, I had the responsibility to reach the production goals, through the application of the engineering and quality tools like lean manufacturing, supported by the techniques of the implementation of the "Pull System" we reached the reduction of the 10% of the inventories in the production line. I applied the 5´s methodology to keep tidy the workspace and reduce and prevent the mistakes of sending non conforming products. I measured the time and movements by operation to distribute the work fairly and improving the productivity.

As a Production Planner, I was the responsible planning of the purchases to the suppliers to keep the ideal inventory level numbers according to the sales. I was the first contact between the company and the suppliers to make deals about the quantities of products that they had to cover to satisfy the necessity of the market. I used to manage four suppliers at the same time, they provided around 20,000 pairs of shoes per month. I gave them feedback about the company goals and the plans for the following seasons.
