I have worked as a calibration and repair technician for the past 6 years. I have worked with a wide range of electronics and test equipment ranging from aviation electronics to specialty made high current units. I presently am contributing to the team at Electrical Reliability Services where I calibrate various types of hand held meters including multimeters, insulation resistance meters, and temperature meters to name a few. I also have experience with some high voltage applications as well. As a member of Electrical Reliability Services, I also contribute to our field testing and maintenance department, where we test and certify they functionality of several clients medium to low voltage electrical systems and switchgear. Another aspect of my duties include working with individual cities jurisdictions and provide field compliance evaluations for our customers. My duties include careful review of electrical drawings and a physical inspection of all units that are not UL certified. I evaluate each component to ensure it is electrically safe and is the proper component for the application in accordance with UL and ANSI standards. Upon my initial inspection a discrepancy report is issued, and once corrections are completed I reevaluate each system.
