New Zealand

Veri3 is an early stage business. Its technology has the capacity to render large sets of digital data (i.e. the “point clouds” generated by 3D scanners) into 3D visuals or models. These 3D models of physical objects can then be accessed via a virtual reality headset. This technology can be applied to a wide array of industries including asset management, insurance, cultural heritage and forensics. The company has been wound-up while the technology and IP await further commercial applications.

The carboNZero programme was established in 2001 by Landcare Research New Zealand Limited, one of New Zealand’s leading Crown Research Institutes, owned by the New Zealand government. Role: Internship in general legal matters with particular emphasis placed on research aimed at analysing potential expansions towards new international markets. The development of a Master of Laws research essay on a relevant topic for the company (Greenwashing) was carried out during this internship. In addition, active participation in several sustainability networking events, directly liaising with the programme's vast list of clients and stakeholders.
