At the Federal Reserve Bank, my career began with balancing all of Citibank’s incoming deposits. I was quickly given more responsibilities and within my first year, I was promoted to Department Lead where I was responsible for monitoring the incoming checks for South Florida banks. Due to my ability to master new tasks, I was put in charge of training all 6 branches of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta to standardize their check processing. At Citibank, I was responsible for reconciling incoming deposits and their transport to the Federal Reserve. I was also in charge of monitoring and maintaining the high-speed check processing systems. On days when I would finish early, I would assist the ATM department to reconcile the daily deposits.
