- Breakdown and preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical and process instrumentation equipment (Conveyor belts, belt scales, vibrating feeders, motors, pumps, cylinders, valves, valve positioners, MCC's, calibrations, etc.)- Fault finding, replacing and testing of hydraulic valves, pumps, cylinders, etc.- Testing performance of pumps, conveyors and de-watering screens- Do isolations and de-isolations during breakdowns and shut-downs- Replacing and testing of pneumatic equipment- Diagnose and repairs on overhead cranes- Supervising responsibilities of contractors, co-workers and apprentices- Stand in as engineering shift supervisor- Perform plant inspections on a routine basis

• Breakdown and preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and Process instrumentation equipment: Cylinders, motors, valves, valve positioners, MCC's and calibrations. • Fault finding, replacing and testing of hydraulic valves, pumps and cylinders • Testing performance of water pumps • Basic lifting skills • Do isolations and de-isolations of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and media and gas lines During breakdowns and planned shut-downs • Replacing and testing and servicing of pneumatic equipment: Directional control valves,Exhausters and pressure switches. • Diagnose faults and repairs on overhead cranes including control drive systems. • Drafting of daily shift reports and notifications on SAP system. • Perform plant inspections on a routine basis determined by maintenance plans. • Support production staff with compilations of WCM (World class manufacturing) • Fault-finding, testing and replacement of Siemens plc.
