Analytical and pro-active economist with more than four years of international experience within the energy sector, covering different technical and financial roles. I am an ambitious person willing to learn new things and apply everything I have learned. The solar sector is making much progress across the world, keeping the environment clean, and I would like to contribute my little grain of sand. The world of solar is vast and there is much to learn. Therefore, I would like to keep making progress in this aspect. Company goals can be reached in many different ways and consists of many different processes, so my ambition and targets are to be part of developing an efficient way of working. This can be done by looking at automatisation processes and analysing what parts of the process can be adjusted to get the maximum efficiency possible from my skills and experience.In my spare time I like to be active by practising handball and by going to the gym, socialising and discovering new places.In 2009 I started studying economics, and during my studies I got particularly interested in the international aspects of economics. Therefore, I decided to do a master international management and external trade. My dissertation encompassed the development of a process to export a product into a new area for an international company. In order to gain experience and put into practice what I have learned, I underwent an internship at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce where I gained insight in international trading. It also helped me develop my customer service skills because I assisted companies with their internationalisation. I advised them about their feasibility and helped them by looking for distributors in countries they targeted as business opportunities. My career began at Redexis Gas as a financial analyst. Here I developed my analytical and Excel skills by gathering large amounts of data and analysing them to measure the performance of the company. To enhance my language skills and to obtain international experience, I moved to Bristol. In Bristol, I got the chance to work for a solar company where I started as a Monitoring PV administrator. In this job position, I improved my communication and teamwork skills by being in close contact with clients, field engineers and regional managers. By doing so, we achieved a smooth process between Lightsource BP and the clients. I promoted to the function of Performance analyst, where I have learned more about the technical aspects of solar and where I developed accuracy to keep up the energy production.
