Responsible of leading teams of analysts, consultants and junior managers along quantitative and qualitative analysis, problem solving sessions, development of financial models, design and delivery of presentations to clients’ top management; taking an active role along partners and clients in defining solutions.Relevant projects:•Leading the authorization process to obtain regulatory license for new financial institutions and change of control, including Banks, Sofipos, Stockbrokers, and Fintechs. Taking an active part developing the required documents for the filing (Business Plan, Financial Projections Model, Manuals), participating in all relevant discussions with authorities and clients’ decision-making sessions. Afterwards, advising on the preparations for the start of operations of such institutions • Leading due diligence for private equity funds, venture capital funds, and enterprises looking for M&A opportunities in the financial, retail and food & beverage sectors. • Assessing the Mexican market potential for one of the largest European banks focused on derivatives, project finance, international trade finance and structured products.

Responsible of managing analysts and consultants along quantitative and qualitative analysis, problem solving sessions, development of financial models, design of materials for clients.Relevant projects:• Developing the strategic business plan for a leasing company looking to triple its size within the next 5 years, diversifying its product offer and increase its presence nationally.• Taking part of due diligence for private equity funds, venture capital funds, and enterprises looking for M&A opportunities in the financial, retail and food & beverage sectors.• Designing a disruptive deposit taking product targeted to middle-income households with a digital focus, taking into consideration inclusion of new channels, understanding clients’ needs, local and international digital trends in the financial industry (pre-fintech revolution), funding costs, cross-selling, back office, regulation, etc.

Responsible for supporting senior consultants and partners with quantitative and qualitative analysis, gathering and analyzing data, building financial models, structuring and presenting documents, as well as taking an active part in problem solving discussions with partners and clients,Relevant projects:• Assisted in successful regulatory authorizations of new financial institutions• Co-wrote a report with the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) about the potential for retailers to provide financial services in order to increase financial inclusion in developing countries• Assisted on the review of the 5 year business plan and financial model to identify short term initiatives aimed to increase the revenue of the company by $30 million MXN within the first year for a low cost university network owned by one of Mexico's leading private equity firms• Participated in a commercial due diligence for a private equity firm looking to invest in a leasing company• Helped with the restructuring of one of Mexico's biggest mortgage non-bank banks, identifying inefficiencies and proposing a plan for continuity
