I met Jesus and Sebastian (AURA PAY's Founders) in Demium, during an All-Startup weekend celebrated in March 2022. I had the chance to know more about the project and notably the values and principles by which this team was driven. I did see in them a lot of passion and empathy about the migrant-related problem so embedded in Spain (and worldwide) currently and historically. At that moment, I visualized remittances as the engine of prosperity for families in LATAM. It was precisely this social impact one of the values I shared with them instantly.My first experience working for a startup was quite enriching, a huge honor for me. I started helping them in the Financial Department where I had the opportunity to deepen my professional experience in Financial Planning, Market Research, Process Improvement, and Financial Modelling. Also, contacting Venture Capital Institutions (looking for funding in new investment rounds for AURA PAY) was an important part of my work. Above all, I felt a human connection with the team. I believe in their potential to keep working for a higher purpose: fighting for financial inclusion for Latin-American migrants in Spain. I learned that building a company from scratch, just from an idea, is always possible. I'm grateful for this opportunity to the founders and for letting me help to add positive value to such an important project with such a brighter future.

In my first professional experience abroad (recently moved to Peru) I had the opportunity to start developing applied sales strategies in Teleavance, a commercial company bringing telemarketing services to Movistar Peru Company (telecommunication).As a Sales Consultant, some of my main tasks were: Professional sales advisory on telecommunication products; persuasion techniques; teamwork and commercial telemarketing.

During this early stage of my life in Venezuela, I started working for the family company part-time. I had the opportunity to start developing my organization skills, logistics, and sales by keeping a direct contact to clients. Distribuidora Oscarito C.A. was a wholesome distributor of toiletry and general cleaning products (mainly from P&G) to more than 150 clients in Caracas, Venezuela.Some of my main tasks during this period were: Merchandise control (entry and exit); Billing coordination (by zones); Inventory and supply control; Order preparation and stock verification; Sales group: Organization, leadership, and motivation; Distribution control; and Customer delivery verification.
