I am an alumnus of the University of San Diego. I have a degree in Marketing. I'm also in the music industry. That all started at The Griffin. I was responsible for The Griffin's social media accounts in its last year of its existence. By the time I left The Griffin, the business' Facebook page expanded by more than 30%. I currently work with Perro Bravo and Skunk Records. I make sure you find out about everything we're doing. Big things are coming. Stay Tuned!I used to work at The Merrow in Hillcrest as well. I would manage The Merrow's social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I booked bands for the series, Radio Halloran Presents, which is a weekly showcase where local bands are called in to play in front of the Program Director of 91X, San Diego's biggest independent alternative rock radio station. My work in the music industry also extends to conducting artist interviews and reviewing concerts. These concert reviews and interviews can be found on usdradio.org, and are frequently shared by the bands themselves on their own social media sites. While still active in the music scene, I've scaled back my involvement in the booking business. I'll only book at most 5 shows per year. These shows are with bands that make financial sense and are fun to deal with. I.E. Any of the bands on Skunk Records or Long Beach Records and their friends. I have a day job now at Costco and that tends to pay a lot more than anything the music scene in San Diego ever offered. This job also keeps me out of trouble, for the most part.
