At AGE I developed conceptual and numerical groundwater models for projects in Australia (including very complex mining projects), for approvals and planning. The numerical models included custom computer scripts, complex calibrations and uncertainty analyses. These models and their reports were produced to the highest standard, satisfying detailed external peer reviews before being submitted to the environmental authorities for assessment.

Key Accomplishments:I raised the profile of the company as site manager for a South Australian mining client in a 50 large dewatering well installation project with multiple rigs on site and within a very short delivery timeframe. I continuously selected and managed earthworks at new drilling locations, designed well installations, supervised drilling operations, logged rock cuttings, adjusted well designs based on findings, supervised well installation and managed materials. I also supervised and analysed pumping tests and slug tests at the site. Health and safety was managed at the highest standard during the project.Some of the clients I worked on site for are: Exxon Mobil, BHP Billiton, Chevron, Santos, Drillsearch, OZ Minerals, NT Power and Water Corporation, OneSteel, Centrex Metals, ResourceCo, Trans Pacific Industries, Western Desert Resources, Vista Gold, Coca Cola Amatil and the District Council of Yorke Peninsula.My performance was recognized by clients as a key factor in the extension of multiple contracts for projects ran in the remote Australian outback (South West Queensland and Northern Territory). I individually developed the field programs including preliminary planning, field supervision of drilling and well installation, well design, well and aquifer testing and regulatory well inspections.I received several health and safety awards from Golder, including the highest HSE international award of the company, formally recognizing my ongoing enthusiasm to maintain a healthy work environment.

Key Accomplishments:I was one of the six members of the Geoinformatics team of Barrick South America and maintained close contact with other members of the team from Chile, Argentina and the Dominican Republic. Successfully managed the Colombian exploration database composed of spatial data using ArcGIS, MapInfo, Excel, Access and AcQuire. Continuously assessed and improved the exploration data workflow, including data capture, compilation, analysis and production of final maps and reports.

Key Accomplishments:I was the leader of the geoinformatics team I created and established within the company. The team designed, managed and provided support for the users of a mineral exploration database containing drilling exploration data worth approximately US$15 million.Personally designed the exploration data workflow including field capture, office compilation, quality assessment, corrections and reporting for final users. This included the creation of field forms, GIS maps and templates, and manipulation of tabulated data using ArcGIS, MapInfo, AutoCAD, Excel, Access and SQL Server.Managed geochemical analysis of samples with more than 100 samples flowing on a weekly basis under very strict QA/QC standards. Liaised with multiple Canadian consultants for the preparation of a NI 43-101 mineral resources report, providing them with clear, organized exploration data.
