I am a curious life learner who enjoys creative problem solving. In my previous role, I helped create the foundation for and the implementation of the Savvy Storage Insurance Program at Public Storage. The Savvy program is a new insurance program that is tailored for independent owners and operators of storage facilities. I built out the onboarding workflows and processes, and completed market research on competition. This role challenged me to draw experience from my past in sales, insurance, and my entrepreneurial ventures. At Lockton, I learned a lot about the account management process and moving through account renewals effectively. I worked with the amazing Healthcare Property and Casualty team during the COVID 19 pandemic which required a lot of communication between our team and our clients. I ramped up my learning and development to be an informed and competent professional during an uncertain time. As someone who grew up in a working class household with an immigrant mother and a bi-racial father, I was exposed to a wide variety of experiences and walks of life. I learned the value of hard work, grit and compassion for others regardless of their station in life. #Opentowork
