Travelled to USA customer sites to consult on mechanical and electrical issues as well as to provide training for customers in the food & beverage industry. Performed technical inspections, assessed and troubleshooted production line machines for several major clients such as Niagara Bottling LLC, and BlueTriton Brands Inc. Led an intervention to inspect a Krones Labeler that was electrically and mechanically damaged due to a fire incident; managed to repair and replace the damaged parts to successfully start up for production after only 2 days on site.

Imparted theory classes and performed as laboratory instructor for the Numerical Methods course in the Department of Mathematics.

Managed multimedia infrastructure, technology services, and support staff. Designed and developed specialized rooms that were necessary to implement new technology-enhanced learning methodologies. Was promoted to manage all the learning technologies services across the three university campuses after two years. Created an online room management service for faculty and students to be able to create their distance-learning meetings or reserve technology-enhanced rooms. Worked on a custom design together with Crestron Electronics to create the first automated room in Guatemala meeting TEAL classroom requirements by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Designed OEM solutions, automation systems and machines for the Biopharma sector. Worked as part of the electrical design team. Inspected designs to be in conformance with both NEC, IEC, and other electrical codes. Selected parts and configurations for Allen Bradley PLC racks. Reviewed and produced electrical drawings for new machine designs in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Successfully completed several automation projects on site for important clients such as Corning Inc, Wacker, Sorrento Therapeutics, Inhibrx Inc and Cellipont Bioservices. Performed as electrical design lead in the team that developed the first large scale media preparation system delivered to Kite Pharma.

Provided onsite mechanical and electrical support for customers throughout Central America and the USA. Performed installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training of facility personnel for OCME packaging machines and conveyors, as well as Robopac stretch wrappers. Worked with contractors and supervised them to ensure project deliveries were met within deadlines and in accordance with industry standards. Supported mechanical and electrical installations of the conveyor system, depalletizers and palletizers for a gamma ray sterilization line at Corning Life Sciences. Supervised the addition of new dry-end machines including a case packer, pack and pallet conveyors, inspection systems, palletizer and stretch wrapper to an existing can production line at AB InBev. Supported the project since the early placement of the machines and conveyors all the way up to the site acceptance testing.

Provided remote provisioning and troubleshooting support to technicians performing installations and service calls for optical network equipment and derived services in CANADA. Provided Tier 2 support to technical agents resolving customer service issues. Assessed and located physical network issues using remote diagnostic tools. Troubleshooted Smart Home Automation and Security services. Generated and approved technician dispatches. Worked directly under TELUS PureFibre CANADA.

Was promoted from Tier 1 technical support within a period of 6 months, when the required time is 2 years.

Installed, maintained, troubleshooted, and commissioned Krones machinery for the beverage industry in Latin America, the USA, and the Caribbean. Specialized in packaging machines, palletizers, de- palletizers as well as package and pallet conveyors. Travelled onsite for production line startups, overhauls, efficiency ramp-ups, site acceptance tests and audits. Supervised electrical contractors during installations. Conducted electrical inspections, fixed conveyor chains, troubleshooted PLC code, setup recipe and machine parameters, checked and adjusted motor rotations, scaled pallet and pack conveyors in PLC programs, performed recipe backups, machine signal exchanges and I/O checks.
